I purchased a vacation package to Las Vegas with an agreement to take a 90 min tour of the resort. I've been trying to make reservations for this trip for the past three weeks! with the promise that I would get a reply back within 24 hours! It seems to be a scam!

Global Fulfillment Services - Trip Package Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I paid $300 worth of "taxes" for a trip package that I so called "won" back in 2012 and never took any of the trips due to high airfare, no vacation time, just life in general. I figured I would just write off the $300 as a lesson learned. They can't acted me 6 months ago to try to get me to pay another couple hundred bucks to renew the original package terms, because I had 18 months to book a trip the first time and never did. After refusing several times to renew and the salesman becoming a bit rude, I hung up on them and that was done. Now they have been calling me again and I had a very dreadful conversation with someone in their "delinquency" department telling me I never closed the account after " buying a ticket for a trip" and insisted I pay them over a thousand more dollars more to take care of their losses. The person was very rude, used the "F" word frequently, and even went as far as looking up my profession in the records then telling me I'm "***" at what I do. Are these people going to try turning me into collections for this or is it a scam??? Please help me.

I apologize about the experience that you had however, we have had a lot of trouble with other Marketers using our name and old database to scam our customer out of more money. We have recently addressed the issue and made our database of over 8000 clients aware of this and gave them ways to avoid it.

Guest

It's a scam. Just keep hanging up on them or block their numbers if you can.

Guest

They are an obvious scam. They use aggression and insults to try to make you pay even more money.

Keep in my your $300 lesson. Find your anti fraud authority hotline number and maybe try to conference them in, or your local police.

Record the conversation.

Guest

You was told it was a promotional package and not something you won that is said on the first call which is recorded

Global Fulfillment Services Vacation Package Review from Newark, California

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Sadly, we fell for it! Some how they had information from another company in Florida who sold us a vacation package and said since we didn't fulfill our contract by not going on the trips, they would pick up the package and for another$675 they would give us all on the original contract and add a 7 night international trip. Fast forward 3 months, I call, angry because the contract sent said we had 30 days to take one trip and cost is only an additional$398. Now i get a call out of the blue from the first company stating no one buys out contracts, they just lied and sold us another package and we're still responsible for the initial contract, now instead of $675 additional, it's $1099 due to inflation. I'm done dealing with them all, I'm contacting the D A on both! Oh, the other to stay away from is Tri Star Marketing, he said they were taking out the $1099 out of my account today, but because of all the trouble we had with GFS, he would refund $698 and only charge us $400, and add airfare for "free", oh, yeah, he asked for the bank card beginning with 4995, I told him you must already have it if you're going to withdraw$1099. Yep, an expired card, he actually thought I'd give him a credit card number to "refund" me. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH

Scam that is Easy to Fall For

Bottom line - Don't Deal with GFS. You will be sorry. Here's why:

For a low price, you will be offered a short vacation at a timeshare where you will be required to take a tour. Do that and you will also get a voucher for a longer stay at a resort domestically or internationally. Once you fall for that, they will offer you an additional cruise, airfare, and other travel amenities for relatively low cost.

Sound too good to be true? It is folks. If you pay a couple of hundred bucks for a 4 day/3 night stay at a timeshare, you're not getting ripped off - it's an OK deal on it's own if you are willing to go through the timeshare process. But don't pay more than that!

It's when you try to use the vouchers for additional stays that you are getting scammed. These vouchers require you to pay MORE MONEY to see what resorts are offered and available. Some of the vouchers require you to pay even more to select a resort after you've paid to see what's available.

How do I know? I fell for the whole thing. Got the timeshare, and then added on 2 roundtrip airline tickets, a 2 night hotel stay, a cruise voucher, and a 7 night resort stay... all for $898!!! We stayed at the timeshare - that was OK. But when I started to use these vouchers, that's when I knew I was scammed.

How do I know I was scammed? Because I got my credit card company involved and they helped me unravel the whole mess. You wouldn't believe the lies these people told the credit card company while I was (unknown to them) on the other end of the call. They quickly redacted when I was brought into the call.

Even more upsetting was to get a call recently selling me the same exact thing... and I told them I had already gotten scammed. I told him about the vouchers, etc and he laughed and said "you learned a lesson at least". I mean... come on, these salespeople know they are scamming people.

Just say NO!

All of our customers are informed of the fees and sign a sales contract making them aware of the fees before they are even able to go to the host resort. We apologize if the information was missed but it certainly wasn't withheld

If Only I Had Said "NO"!!!!!

Bought a package for $598...so *** of me. The paperwork has no expiration date on it, but someone called to say that I owed money because I hadn't taken the trip yet after a 15 months! I was told that if I didn't work with one of their representatives, to pay to extend the package they would send me to a collections agency. The website on the paperwork doesn't work, and if I call the phone number and follow the prompts for customer service, it doesn't get answered. Lots of money to learn a lesson!

I just fell into the same thing. GFS called and spoke to my husband.

He was very rude and told my husband "I made the phone call and I'm the one who is going to talk" Told us we owed $1500.00 for a trip we didn't take. When I got home from work, i called and I took a $398.00 package out as I didn't want it to go to the collection agency. I agreed over the phone with the new package fulfillments, so I don't think I can get out of it.

I am not sure if it's to late to stop my credit card transaction. I guess I just got scammed!

Shysters

I'm having the same problem as others. Several years ago in a weak moment I purchased a 3 day vacation. The money, $498.00 was posted to my Visa account the same day. I phoned the next day and said I changed my mind that I didn't want the offered package. I was told that I could not change my mind, no refund, and I still owed money. I don't them to cancel my account and keep the money already paid, but I didn't want the vacation. Over the years I've been contacted by them to pay the remaining amount owed and I told them I didn't want the vacation package and not to call again. Fast forward to February 2015. I was again contacted by them and was told in no uncertain terms that I was going to be sued for the outstanding amount and it could cost me thousands of dollars. I agreed to pay a reduced amount of $298.00 to close the account and was told that no one would call me again about this. I have no intention of taking the offered vacation package and have written off the money I've already paid. In December I was again contacted by them (even though they said they were from Omega Resorts) They told me that $1098.00 was going to be posted to my credit card at midnight that night. I told them I already paid the full amount, that I had not intention of taking the trip and to please stop calling. I spoke to a supervisor, John O'Malley (real name?) and he said he couldn't refund all of the $1098.00 back, but could refund $500.00 this month and the remaining $599.00 would be refunded in January, but it had to go through on my card for him to do it. Once bitten, twice shy, I contacted Visa and told them that I did not authorize any payment from Omega or GFS Global. I explained why I wanted to do this and he suggested I speak to their fraud person. After explaining what has happened, he advised me to cancel my card immediately, which I did. Last night I received a call again from Omega? and was told that I now owed over $2,000. When I said my Visa card has been cancelled they told me the reason they couldn't refund me the $500.00 was because the card didn't go through. I was on the phone with them for over an hour and he hung up on me. I decided to phone the person from GFS Global (Jonathan Fitzpatrick (real name?). When I finally got through, lo and behold it was the same guy from Omega. Very shady to say the least. He said no one would contact me again. My question is, can they sue me for alleged money I owe? I have all the paper work, plus a letter to them from February saying the alluding to the fact the package has been paid for.

These *** artists robbed my mother--again!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

A telemarketer from Global Fulfillment Services named Richard Francis called my 92 year-old mother several times to ask for $498 to reactivate her "vacation travel package". It seems that the credit card on file no longer worked.

(Well, GFS had previously scammed her out of $698 on two occasions, and she closed the account.) Somehow this guy convinced her into giving him her bank account information so that he could immediately get his hands on the $498.

CAUTION: They prey on senior citizens.

And they don't seem to understand the word "no". You are advised not to do business with these thieves.

Received phone calls that I owe up to $3,600 for a trip I never took.

In 2010 I made the very unfortunate decision to accept an offer from this company, Global Fulfillment Services, which included paying a nearly $500 deposit to receive a reduced rate for a trip if that trip was taken within 18 months ( and maybe up to 36 for some trips) from the date of the deposit. There was a presentation that would be made by a time share company if I did go on the trip. I paid the deposit, but was never able to take the trip. Then, this past Monday, June 29, 2015, this company called me from a Florida number: (954) 613-****. A very pushy and abusive telemarketer told me that I still had an open account; that since I never took the trip they would bill me the full rate for the trip I never took. He threatened to charge my credit card up to $3,600. He repeated the last 4 digits of my long-since-cancelled credit card the original charge was made on. After some arguing, I got his supervisor on the phone. His supervisor, who said her name was Dionne Jackson, discussed the matter with me. I explained to her that while I understood I lost my $500 deposit by not taking any of the trips within the time period allotted, I was in no way responsible for paying up to $3,600 for a trip I never took. I explained that what was being perpetrated by GFS appeared to be a fraud. Ms. Jackson, who purposefully harped on my fraud claim as absurd, told me that I was mistaken in thinking they were calling me to tell me I owed the $3,600. She explained that they were just calling to tell me that they still had the offer to take the trip at a reduced rate open for me. I explained that I would not be taking the trip and she confirmed that if I did not take the trip I would not be charged. Twenty minutes after this conversation the original telemarketer called me back from the same number. I asked why he was calling again as the matter was resolved. He stated "the calling is automatic, you think I wanted to talk to you again?" I hung up the phone. Two days later I get another call from the same telemarketer. He claims that his supervisor only gave me a "24-hour window" to decide if I was going to take the trip. He said that as I have not made a decision they would now charge me for the remainding balance of the trip. "You open an account, you pay. You owe, you pay," he told me and that if I didn't he would "push this button" and refer the bill to collections. After I demanded to speak with his supervisor he put me on hold. Two minutes later he tells me that his supervisor told him that he was mistaken and that the matter was resolved. He hung up the phone. Then today, July 2, 2015, he calls me back. Seemingly not knowing who I am, I repeated that we discussed this issue and his supervisor stated it was resolved. He said "Oh, yea. I made a mistake. I was supposed to send this to B4 for collections." In other words, "sorry I called you back, I was supposed to refer this to a collection agency." I told him this matter has been settled, hung up on him and blocked the number.

These Scam Artists Defrauded My 92 Year-old Mother

The telemarketers at GFS World LLC have struck again! Some "nice sounding" person called from Ft.

Lauderdale to ask for more money.

Seems that the credit card on file no longer worked. Sadly, my elderly mother gave the thief a check over the phone in the amount of $498...

Original review Jun 19, 2015
A pushy telemarketer conned my elderly Mother into buying a $159 travel package in 2013. This past year we discovered that there were at least two unauthorized charges to her credit card in the amount of $698 each.

We are currently working with the credit card Fraud Department to recoup the damages.

I encourage anyone who has done business with these scammers to check your monthly statements to be sure that someone hasn't made fraudulent charges. Charges may appear as GFS or another travel company.

(Note: Special T Travel has similar business practices.) As they say, "Caveat emptor". Let the buyer beware!

This is a feeble attempt to rationalize numerous scams. All of the purchases that were sold to my mother were detailed on official GFS letterhead.

The checks were all cashed by your office; The credit cards were all run through your bank. It appears that you have some very disreputable employees working for you.

While your mother may have packages with us. I guarantee you that if someone from our company sold her vacations in an incorrect manner we, the corporate office would investigate it and do everything in our power to fix it. If you have an issue please contact our office, voicing an anonymous complaints helps neither of us and brings no resolution which seems to be what you want.

For anyone who has been scammed by such thieves, I recommend filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office. One can only hope that such unethical businesses are fined heavily and put out of business.

A class action suit would be nice. Have you been a victim?

Inara Pwx

The scammers at GFS World LLC coughed up $498 to assuage their guilt. However, there remains about $1500 still outstanding.

The head honcho claims that he has a recording of the conversation in which my mother asked for the bogus travel package, even though her mental abilities are less than normal. But since she gave them a check by phone, they think that they can keep it. It is still elderfraud!

And it's theft. Class action suit anyone?

Do not purchase anything from Global Fulfillment Services!

They are a scam.. Once you purchase from them you will never hear from them again. They will not give you anything and you won't be able to contact anyone. Don't do what I did ..save your money!

The website provides you with a phone number but you can never talk to anyone, that right there tells you something is wrong. They promise you everything but take your $$$ before you call them back to book a date and when this happens you will see that there is nobody to assist you on any vacation.
