TOTAL SCAM! I am embarrassed to say that I did not fully understand the initial call nor follow up calls from this scam company.

They lead you to believe they are acting as a go between you, the customer, and a company you did not follow through on with a vacation purchase. They claim by working with them any issue you MIGHT HAVE WILL GO AWAY. When in fact they themselves are selling you vacation getaways but not up front and telling you. They also state that by working with them your name will be removed off any contact list for potential sales.

I am sad to say I paid them a couple of thousand dollars for NOTHING.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEM AND I HOPE SOMETHING CAN BE DONE TO STOP THIS COMPANY. SHAME ON THEM AND THEIR ENTIRE STAFF

Just filed complaints but want a full refund and NEVER BE CONTACTED BY THEM AGAIN

Original review May 22, 2022
This is absolutely a scam company and relentless. Unfortunately I am a trusting person and got screwed by this company for $7400.

Their story with me was that they somehow saw my name associated with several vacation companies that were going after me for previously purchasing vacation trips, some with presentations, some not, that I never attended. They claimed I put down deposits but did not pay full price since I never attended. I argued with them that I never did that but just becoming a widow, I gave in. They have contacted me 5-6 times with previous companies threats and assured me that if I paid them X amount of dollars they could get all cleared up.

Unfortunately after paying and got follow up paperwork it reveals they themselves are vacation companies and actually sold me vacations. I told them I have absolutely NO CHANCE OF ME GOING ANYWHERE SINCE COVID AND I AM A SENIOR WIDOW. DIDNT MATTER, THEY ACTUALLY HAD 3 people call me and harass til I gave in. I want a refund of money I paid this unscrupulous company.

I URGE YOU ALL TO BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

THEY HAVE A ONE STAR RATING AND MANY COMPLAINTS LIKE MINE. I MADE REPORTS TO AUTHORITIES AND HOPE ACTION IS TAKEN.

Scammed for a vacation package

They called and said I owed x amount of dollars for 2 vacation packages that I had bought 2 years previously, but hadn't used, therefore a fine of several thousand dollars. These had already been taken care of by my settlement company, but they lied to me and said it hadn't. After verbal abuse and harrassement from them, I agreed to pay them $698. Then they double charged my credit card. I finally got that changed. Then I received another vacation package from them, which was the same kind I had before (use it or pay a big fine). Also, I am 75+ years old, so I don't qualify to use their timeshare. The credit card company wouldn't charge back my card because I had "agreed" to the sale.

Feeling scammed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been called by GFS on multiple occasions and sadly believed them. They claimed another company was going to charge my credit card $2000+ for not fulfilling requirements or payments for a vacation plan.

For $400-$800 (it varies) they would have the problem resolved and I would be put on a no call list. When I bought their pitch, I received another package that looked great until I tried to use it. Then I needed to pay several $100+ to book a vacation. On a recent call I asked for the information in writing and was told that AFTER I paid it would be sent to me!

I said I wanted my lawyer to look over the contract and was told no - I didn't need a lawyer. I called TSG travel and they said that they had never given a delinquent acct to GFS and the contract I have with them was in good standing.

Willing to take your money but not provide any service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

August 2018,

I purchased one of their 'vacation' packages. Did the time share trip, sat through that, all was fine.

Nov 2018 Asked for the cruise certificate so we could get this underway. They sent me a certificate and the first condition to book was you must be a US citizen. They knew when they issued the certificate I was not a US citizen, that has never been a secret to them. The web address and contact information for the cruise provider on the certificate is not valid. I have called customer service, email customer service and spoken with the time share trip organizer, who confirmed this was not the right certificate and promised to have them rectify this.

March 2019 I had no reply from my 3 phone calls and messages left, no reply to either of the 2 emails sent and the person who sold the package and purported to be the Director of Operations, none of the phone number he gave me are ever answered and when I call the 1-88*-863-**** number they don't who I am talking about. You can write, leave messages, email and nothing seems to garner a response. I would be nice to get even one little bit of what we paid for.

I believe i am receiving calls from this same company, trying to strong arm me into paying them for a "vacation package not used." I have never heard of this company, and did not buy a vacation package from them, or any company they rattled off. They have even threatened to charge my credit card, or debit card and gave me a 4 digit number that the card supposedly ended with.

I suppose some people would unintentionally give them the correct 4 digits, but i did not. I refused to give them any financial information. They continued to be very aggressive.

i continued to deny any knowledge of a debt owed, and quite frankly was getting very upset, (but did not curse) To the point that they hung up on me. They do however continue to call.

I literally just had the same experience. Told me I owed $2648 unless I agreed to a no action clause.

I told them I never paid $2648 to begin with. Daniel Hall (caller) got mad when I asked for them to produce in writing what I purchased. Told me the burden was on me as a consumer. I told him if I paid he should have a record and be a lie to demonstrate that to me.

He then hung up. I called GFS and no one answered...

Vacation Package Scam

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Global Fulfillment Services falsely asserts that I have a high debt obligation for not using a timeshare promotion, and that I can relieve me of this obligation by purchasing a package from them. They had information about the real timeshare promotion deal that led me to believe their assertions were legitimate. They asserted that I was at a hard deadline, and only by immediately making an $800 purchase (with great benefits!) could I avoid a $1,800 bill. Tristar in fact had no connection with the original seller, and was simply pressuring me to make a new package purchase. After speaking with the credit card company, and many hours with Tristar, I was able to get a full refund but it was a real pain to do so and I suspect many people are victimized.

This company is a SCAM!!!!!

This company started calling me non-stop trying to scam me for over $1000.00 as a result of a vacation package I bought and didn't use. Did a little research and see that I am not the only one. If this happens to you, don't be fooled. In fact, do what I did - write down the phone number and start calling them off the chain, over and over and over again. This will teach them to get a job and quit trying to scam people out of their hard earned money. Don't fall for any special offers - if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true....... Wanna drive them crazy.....754-666-****.

I made the mistake to give them my American Express number 2 years ago. The charge was over $900.

I asked them to send me a contract specifying what they were offering for that amount of money. They didn't but they sent me a welcome email. I responded the next day that since I did not receive a detailed information with the offer that kept changing every time I talk with someone, I sent them an email requesting to cancel my trip. They did not and for the first time, my American Express Costco, left me high and dry and got stuck with the bill.

CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Today, I got another phone call...They're asking for another $900. because I did not go on their trip and they threaten with collection agency

ORLANDO TIMESHARE RIP OFF

park at the door motel timeshare? really???

staff even commented and said this is your timeshare? so embarrassing to say it was a timeshare. it was dirty, handle on toilet broken, and sink faucet and handles broken, they ordered new ones but they didnt come by the time we left, no hot water, or pressure in shower...they not once washed the bathroom floors or cleaned the tub or sink while we were there ..terrible timeshare...beautiful tower in the grounds..why not put a timeshare holder in there...what was the problem...greed and money to this company . this was second time i used this company for a timeshare.

the first time you have to go and attend a meeting..so i went to canadas only timeshare in collingwood. the hotel resort was under construction, it was dirty, dusty, noisy and couldnt really eat in restaurant because the tables were dusty from the dust..it was awful...they promised to give me another trip for this. never got it...plus again i was put in the hotel part and not into a timeshare part of the hotel. it was dusty like i said, under construction, and just a normal hotel room.

whats the difference of a timeshare and a normal hotel room. you tell me when we pay for these packages????

This company has continued to call me and my husband regarding a package we purchased (and fully paid for) in 2015 They demand anywhere between $300 and $1,000 to clear up our account because we "didn't live up to" our "obligation" to take a trip and attend a presentation. After being harassed for months, I finally called the Attorney General's office for the state of Florida to report this issue.

I was informed that this is a scam and was advised to file a complaint with them. I was also told to call the FTC and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and file complaints with those agencies as well.

Is there a class action suit against Global Fulfillment and other such travel hawking companies?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I just got a call from someone in Florida, who claimed that there was a class action suit against Global Fulfillment and several other similar fly-by-night vacation heisters. She claimed I was part of a group identified as being tagged to join the suit, and that for a certain amount of money, they would handle all the legal stuff for me. I did throw away some money to that organization, and then decided not to throw away any more in their direction. They had lots of complex applications and money demanded for each step of the process of getting what you thought you already were entitled to because of the big bucks you put up front. Does anyone know of such a class action suit, or is this just another spin to extort money?

Scam Artist!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I started receiving phone calls from these terrorist about two weeks ago. I was called me from an anonymous number and the guy started in with telling me that I had defaulted on a vacation package that I had bought and that I was in the process of being sent to collections.

It caught me off guard my gut instincts told me that it was a scam. I argued with the guy regarding the legitimacy of his statements and he insisted that I owed $1,900.00 for a vacation that I did not complete. I told him to go fly a kite and he hung up on me. He has since called me at least a dozen times and I have received other calls from reps that work there.

I researched the one travel package that I did buy over the phone and that package has not expired. A female GFS rep called me today and referred to charge that I made on my American Express card. I don't how she ascertained that information since I have called AMEX and they verified that they don't give out that information to anyone.

I am calling Island Vacations tomorrow as they're the company that I bought the vacation from and they're the only party that has my AMEX payment info. They are probably going to deny any involvement with GFS as I've already called them once about this, but I'm going to hold them responsible for allowing my payment information to be compromised.
